Wordful Wednesday-Scenario's for Girls

*Wordful Wednesday is for those of us that like to showcase a photo(s) but that just can't seem keep our mouths shut about it(them). If you'd like to play along, post a photo on your blog, and let the words roll. Feel free to "capture" my 7 Clown Circus button (below and on the left) or simply hyperlink to my site, and be sure to add yourself to Mr. Linky. Thanks for playing along!

I know this isn't a typical Wordful Wednesday post, but sometimes you just have to break the rules.

Look who's been published! My bloggy friend Nicole O'Dell's two books have been released. As a published author want-to-be, I'm super excited for her. Congrats, Nicole!

For a review and giveaway of these SIGNED tween books, see the post below. Happy Wordful's everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to be wordy about!

Neat! Wish I were even remotely creative enough to come up with a publishable story. And, I just realized that my stupid blogger reader thing has not been updating your posts. I hate blogger sometimes. Boo Blogger, you suck! If you don't start keepin' up with my girl Angie's posts I might have to send you a nasty email, or something.

Jen said...

Angie,
I have been missing you. I thought that you were not posting but it was b/c your feed was not updating in my readers. I am sorry that I have not been here. I hope that problem is now fixed.

I really liked your post on Friendship and how cool to published author.

I hope you have a great day and I am off to get caught up on what I missed.

Great looking books! I loved to read when I was younger and I still do. Being a child of the Seventies, for me it was Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden and even the Hardy Boys after I was all done with the girl ones. LOL! The world needs more GREAT books for tweens and teens!

Thanks for sharing and congrats to your friend Nicole!

ParentingPink said...

Congrats to your friend! If you like, I'd be happy to review her books on ParentingPink.com. I am in the middle of a major site redesign and I am adding a "book review" category for parents of girls. Just a thought!

How cool! Those are some great book covers. I have a tween son though, so unless it has girls fighting each other with swords and flying on dragons, he probably wouldn't go for it. lol
