One of the best things about fall around here are the Japanese maples. Right when all the leaves that *were* glorious have turned brown and fallen off the trees, and you think if you have to rake up one more leaf you'll commit suicide, the Japanese maples pop. It's like a second fall and it's a reminder how wonderful autumn really is........even if it doesn't last as long as I'd like.

Beautiful, we still have some trees with pretty colors here. For the most part though the wind has pretty much blown the leaves off the trees.
I'm ready for snow and Christmas.
I love those also. The red's are a favorite for me in fall...
WOW. That's beautiful. It's almost a color that you wouldn't see in nature. Like tropical fish. I have one red tree left in my front yard. It's my favorite.
I love those too! So pretty! I hate leaves all over too... whats worse is that they are not even ours, they all blow off the neighbors yard and engulf us! It's not fair at all!
I have to agree- a gorgeous tree- and I am so in love with Autumn- my favorite season!
They are such gorgeous trees! BEAUTIFUL:)
I hear you on the suicide and one more leaf thing...I've given up cleaning my house till all the leaves have fallen. It's a nightmare...
We just gave my friend a Japanese Maple tree to remember her baby by. I love them and think they are one of the most beautiful. I do miss the fall here in So. Cal. We just don't seem to get all the colors that everyone else gets. Everything just stays green. I guess palm trees just don't change colors!
