Tuesday's Tribute-being settled

Tuesday's Tribute

What is it?
Well, we'll tell you what it is NOT... It's Not About YOU. It's about SOMEONE ELSE. It's our chance, each of us, to shine our light on someone else.

Huh? Whaddya mean?
We each spend a lot of time talking about ourselves and our lives, but we are also fairly GIVING people too...Tuesday's Tribute is a chance to talk about OTHER people, OTHER blogs, OTHER lives.

Now's your chance to shine your light on someone else.

Or something else, as the case may be.

This week I chose to Tribute the state of being settled.

It's one of those things that I know I take for granted until I'm un-settled. And let me tell you, this move has been, well, unsettling. Jeff and I have worked our hind ends off, and it's all finally come together.

We are offically moved in, and all that is left to do are finishing touches......a lot of finishing touches. But still.

So, by popular request, I present to you MY state of settled:

(I thought I was being pretty snazzy by putting text on my pictures......I just didn't realize it was such small text. So, you might have to double click the images to read my commentary.)

See, lots of proof that I adore brown.
AND
Being Settled.

Angie! Everything looks SO good girl! I can see how much work you've put into this home and now it's just looking wonderful. I can't wait to see it with all the rest of your tweaking! Hey, you didn't show the kitchen!

Beautiful! How do you manage to live in that Model Home with five kids??? I like brown too, and I am in AWE of all the WHITE you've incorporated! My kids would have that stained and ruined in no time flat! Truly impressive! =)

Looks amazing! You must be feeling very relieved. I'm so agitated when my house is unsettled and things are outta there places. Not the everyday mess I live in, because toys actually belong on the floor, don't they? It's the things are just not right feeling you get in the midst of a move that I can't stand. Congrats!

So glad that you are getting really 'moved' in--so thrilled for you! Everything is just beautiful--and I also have a 'thing' for brown!

Blessings!

Am I seriously looking at pictures of your house, or is this a model home?

Do children live here?

I'm not buying it, Angie. Not for one minute.

Seriously. Could your kids BE any cuter? I remember thinking some of those same thoughts the first time I visited Hollywood. I thought it would be all glitz and glamor, but I'll never forget some of the things I saw. It's quite an eye opener, and it sounds like you are teaching your kids some really important lessons early on.

Please ignore my Mr. Linky here - I accidentally put it here first instead of WW. Sorry!
