I would have liked to have shown you a house that's totally renovated and moved in and decorated.
Alas, I can't so this will have to do. There's been a WHOLE lot'a work goin' on, and I'm plum tuckered out. We're getting there. Slowly, but surely.

That section in the middle is a toy box. All we need to do now is cover that "K" with a "J".
BEFORE
The kids bathroom was pretty darn white. Well, white covered in dirt. So not so very white. Jeff wanted a blue bathroom, so blue it is. Only took me FOUR laborious hours to do, too.
AFTER
Since I have a love affair with brown (and all things beige or taupe), I threw some in. I couldn't resist.
BEFORE
The girls room was this terrible shade of blue, and I'm pretty sure the former owners housed a dog in the room. The first thing that had to go was the carpet. ... And everything else for that matter.

for a long, long time...
and you know I've got kids...
and a husband, but he doesn't necessarily have to come.

You've rounded the corner and are headed for the finish line, huh? Congrats, and Happy July!
It looks GREAT!!!!
WOW, looks awesome! Must be a great since of accomplishment! I don't envy all that work, but I bet your glad its done.
Your renovations are amazing. Love the bathroom makeover and the living/dining space. I will never get used to hardwood. Our house is all white oak hardwood except for tile in the bathrooms. One boy and one dog have completely destroyed the floors. I hope we never have to move b/c it will cost a small fortune to have someone come in and sand, stain, and coat the floors. It's pretty, but it's a pain. Take care and good luck with the rest of your renovations.

Wow! Great job! And you have time to blog too?!
I love the satisfaction that comes from a successful DIY project. =)

Looks like a totally different house. Amazing!
What a great home you have. I love what you have done. I am back again with some pictures. I have not done this in awhile.
Your house is looking awesome. Lots of fresh paint and much brighter, too....SoCal...duh!!
Congrats!
Angie, everything is absolutely stunning!
Holy Cow! I love it all. I cant believe how much work you have done. Gorgeous!
Wow, can you come do my house next?
I wish I could redecorate the way you do...I have NO eye for that sort of thing. I can put together an outfit but a house...NO WAY!!
Happy WW!
Wow, you guys are doing a great job! Thank goodness most of this stuff is cosmetic and not total reno. Why was the chandelier hanging in the living room instead of the dining room?
Justine :o )
I'm tired just looking at it. It looks really good.
Wow, you guys *have* been working hard! Great Job!!!
It is looking really nice. Good job. I love the floors and I am a lover of all things brown too.
I am late today but I am here none the less.
I love what you are doing with the house. I can only imagine how much work that has been. And how you are doing this with 5 kids, I just can't imagine that.
Anyway, I would like to see the rest.
You have such gorgeous taste. I love your vision for the house. I'm off to meet with the painters for our new house. I hope I make such good decisions as you!
All that hard work is really paying off - it looks AWESOME!! :)
Love your before and afters... cannot wait to see the rest.. I would love to buy a house that needs some serious TLC and fix it up... will not happen for quite a while, but one day, I hope!
Awesome!!!!
Everything looks so awesome! You have great taste!
Wow! That is one serious makeover! Everything looks great!
wow, i'm so impressed!!!
I'm totally drooling over your home. It looks gorgeous! And I love the blue in the bathroom. Looks like the same color I'm painting my son's room.
I love seeing the process of it coming together. Keep 'em coming.
Wow, Angie, that is absolutely amazing! Great work! I'm wishing I could do a room makeover in my home, but then again, I didn't just move.
And by the way, your blog redesign is gorgeous too. Your husband done good!
It looks fabulous! What a lot of work though....we just repainted our entire house so I know what you're going through....UGH! Hope it's done soon!
You're doing a great job. I'm moving this weekend, so I'll post pics when I'm done. Wish me luck.
I love the bathroom! Great job on the house.
That is ambitious. We just painted one room last weekend and thought that was bad enough.
Every room looks so wonderful! And I feel so tired for you! Oh my what a ton of work! Be sure to reward yourself with a good book and a cold drink soon!
Sorry I didn't participate this week...I'm slacking. Next week!
What wonderful changes! I know you're glad that part is over and done.

It's gorgeous. You do great work. You can come to my place anytime ;D
Oh wow, how fabulous. Y'all are super talented and I love the colors you chose.
Everything is looking SO great Angie! Way to go. You are a super star!
Where are you living while doing all that stinkin work? holy cow do you just drop into bed everynight?
Wow, what a difference a coat of paint makes. I love the living room/dining room...it looks like a completely different room without that dark paint! And I love the blue in the bathroom. It really makes it much brighter in there.
I'm so excited that I got my post in before you shut Mr. Linky down....long time since I've posted a Wordful Wednesday myself, but I always love reading them!
Thanks for your wonderful blog and carnival....I love it!
BTW, every time I have a "mono-mono" patient, I think of you and tell them about your blog! :)
Have a great night!
All I can say is, "Wow!"
It looks so much better, it's amazing what a couple of coats of paint will do
You are so fabulous...
love the new blue and brown in the bathroom. Love the boys' room...you know how I feel about monograms and personalization. (Especially since you're changing the "K" to a "J." That works. You know.)
But really? What's wrong with dark forest green? It's so classy and fresh.
Had you worried there, huh?
p.s. I wrote this while wearing my culottes and banana clip. Just. For. You.
So awesome. You guys have such great taste. Hopefully one day we can be invited to see it in person :)
Catching up, Angie...I've been a bit behind! Two years old with these boys is proving to be challenging, to say the least!
Looks like you have been so so busy. Wow - lots of work! When did you move the boys out of cribs and did you have the bunks then or toddler beds? We're dealing with a whole lot of climbing out of cribs....SO not ready for this!!
You have done amazingly well - I am in awe!
Happy Fourth of July weekend. I hope you and your family have fun. I have something on my blog for you.
It's all absolutely gorgeous! It makes me want to start a big re-do at my house!
love it love it love it!
Looks fantastic! I can't imagine being a mom, renovating a house and blogging ... seriously are you WONDER WOMAN??? I love the bathroom color scheme!
Wow Angie! You have been busy! I didn't realize you guys were buying a house, renovating and moving in! It looks beautiful! Pretty cool what a bit of paint and hard work will do!
Get thee to my home to re-decorate. Now please!
