You're going to kill me. I know. I know. I promised the "big reveal" today. I worked really, really hard, yet I didn't accomplish what I needed to in order to tell you......or rather show and tell you. I will FOR SURE by next week, but until then, here's my wordful.This is one of the things I contended with last week. We changed from a shake roof to composition and from 7:30 in the morning until 5:30 at night it was knock, knock, knock, thump, thump, thump overhead.
And did I mention that my husband was out of town the whole time? That lucky dog.
P.S. I'm so sorry to not have had Mr. Linky up sooner!

Oh that's one thing I'm glad we don't have to worry about in an apartment; I don't like roofing....and I say that like I've ever done it. Just Big A has done like a million roofs...takes forever.

It seems a lot of houses in our development have been getting new roofs lately. The banging does start early. I hope we can get by for a few more years before we have to do that.

Okay, It took me all evening to get my WW post ready and I am all psyched to add my post to Mr. Linky and he is MIA!!! Looks like you are getting some of that grief over him being gone. What a great way to keep things interesting. I've had the knock, knock, thumping with reroofing a few years ago and now will have it again soon...hail storms that have wreaked havoc on our area too many times in the past few years have reroofed us, resided us, and so on..and it's a noisy process!!! Nice to have the roof redone though! :)
But the new roof is worth it, yes?!
