Kite flying is so much fun. I remember visiting kite hill in Seattle one time and although I didn't fly a kite it was fun just to sit and watch everyone else fly kites. I'm so glad the dollar store provided a great day. Wonderful pictures. :)

One year Jon and I got fancy and sprung for an expensive kite from a specialty store. It was beautiful...and it didn't fly for crap.
The Spongebob dollar store kite that we got a few frusterating trips to The Kite Park (that's really what it was called--HUGE space just for kite flying)however was a HUGE success. Go figure.

Oh man - I love it! So jealous of the beach. Brian has always wanted to live in California. I like to visit and he's always telling me about jobs available to him there. Ha! Ha! Everytime he says that I say "great, just let yor mother know." And the conversation stops there. Ha! Ha! It looks like ya'll are having a blast though and that is what it is all about. Oh sure. MORE beach scenes. Very funny. We had such a terrific week, 70s!?? but today. ON halloween? cold. With promise of rain? It NEVER rains here, but on Halloween? Trying to be happy it isn't SNOW!

I am loving your beach pics and at the same time, happy the weather is warm here for Halloween this year :). Ya never know with Utah. And, being from Arizona, it is one thing I have not gotten used to.

There's nothing better than laughing children, the beach, a little breeze to get that kite flying and it barely costing a thing.
I have been begging dh to do just this. I think the girls would love it. We might have to put some rocks in their socks to ensure they don't fly away but still fun for all :)
