PSF: Emma's Hair-Going, Going, Gone

Time's almost up to enter my Lia Sofia necklace giveaway. If you haven't yet, but want to enter, go here.

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Right before we moved Emma decided it was high time she shed some hair. I really, really didn't want her to cut it, but she was tired of the tangles so we went for the big cut. My sister in law (whom you all know now as "she that leaves no stone unturned") was gracious enough to do the honors and snipped 10 inches. I don't think I've ever seen such a happy hair cutting camper. Emma beamed the WHOLE time and has been thrilled with her new do. It doesn't hurt that she was able to donate all that goodness to help another child either.
How's that for going green and recycling?

She has THE most incredibly gorgeous hair, and even after the cut it's still beautifully long. Plus, she's helping a sick child who's out there somewhere.

Definite win-win.

What gorgeous Locks! Someone will be so thrilled. Can't believe she still has long hair after the cut. No wonder she got tangles!

Caitlin said...

Wow! Her hair was LOOONG! It looks very cute now- thick and healthy too. Beautiful!!!

Vicki said...

I'm going to show these pictures to my daughter. Her hair is just as long but she already has an attachment to...no doubt created by me. I'm trying to convince her that donating it to Locks of Love would be awesome and that her hair would grow back quickly. Maybe seeing that your daughter still has length to her hair might convince her. Thanks!

Tamara said...

I love the haircut! Natalie recently got hers cut off too. She had been begging me for a haircut but I liked it long.

Bye bye hair. When I was her age, I had hair that long. And I begged my paretns to cut it short, but they didn't let me until I was like 12:) Kids should decide what they want to do on their own. Its gorgeous hair.

Love redheads, being one myself, out of my 5 kiddos; I only have one who is almost red (more strawberry blonde). My eldest donated her hair, but she didn't have 10 inches; so she donated to Beautiful Lengths by Pantene. I'm considering doing that myself as well. Hair cutting party anyone?
