Dabbling in Vinyl and more......

My first crafty endeavor of the year.......8 vinyl sayings on plaques that I can display year round. Here's my favorite:
While I was being crafty, I started thinking......."what if there was a treasure buried in my front yard? *If* there was one, then it would be worth it to tear up my yard to find it, right?" I haven't found anything yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, the new retaining walls that are being built will be nice....
At the same time I've been busy painting boards for vinyl and dreaming of a treasure in my front yard, Jeff has been doing some carpentry work on a pretty large scale. I'm seriously, seriously amazed by his talent. I have a whole post planned to show you what he can do, but until everything is painted I've promised to not show any pictures. But, I can't wait to be able to showcase his work, and do a little bragging about his skill.....

(see what some of the pictures that were not properly recovered look like?)

LOVE your plaque!! So lovely and welcoming! Hmmm, perhaps there's treasure in my front yard too. I'm callin' for a back hoe right now! Who doesn't love a handy hubby!

I love Vinyl. Did you get a machine that prints it? I have made several and really love it. Are you doing all of it on blocks or directly to your walls ( I like that too).

Your house is looking so awesome! I should just move and buy it right? Ha ha. Really nice work. Can't wait to see more. Kitchen cabinets status?

Wow, that's a huge window. The work is beautiful!!

I know there is no treasure in my yard, I saw the rocks under my dirt and lawn...I guess I'll just have to live vicariously.

So I need to know what's happening to your house. What's going on? Details please. Plus what is your husband doing?

First off you better not fall so madly in love with all the work you are doing on your house that you decide not to ever move back to Cali. :)

I think I might find a treasure not so worthy of finding in my yaer...LOL

I wanna do vinyl. What do you do?

Love your craftiness! Seriously awesome that you are able to make those yourself. Your house looks beautiful and I love that your husband does alot of the work himself. Can't wait to see the pics when everything is done.

Is Jeff giving you the "bird" in that picture?! I guess he really wanted it to be a secret till it's all done. Glad to hear that you got back most of your pictures. That sounds like something I would do...I'm loosing brain cells, as fast as my hair is falling out!
