Ever notice?

Ever notice that when your children are getting into trouble and you take the time to get the camera to capture the moment the anger melts away? Anyone need an anger management class? Just buy a camera. Using it forces one to remove themselves from the situation for a moment and experience it for what it is. An experiment in exploration for little knowledge grabbers.

So true... maybe thats why I am still mad about my ipod. I can't take a picture of it being misused or ruined! It's just gone.

Dear Angie,

Anson, Levi and I just had a lot of fun reading your recent entries and giggling over your pictures and names of the kids. They really laughed a lot when they saw the twins digging in the dirt with the toothbrushes. They love it when Stephan does stuff like that.

We can't wait until we see you this summer, not sure when, but we know it will happen. We have a family reunion in Tillamook the first couple of days in August. So, for sure we will be in Oregon then. We love you! --a bunch of Savages

Isn't that the truth! I have 2 cameras, a big one that only comes out for special occassions, and then the little one for just those things you can't predict around the house! (Or wherever!) Missed you on Sunday, everything OK?

I am going to have to try that. I never think to take out the camera when my kids are being naughty but I am going to see if it works. I'll let you know!

Hi Angie,

I totally agree...it is all the precious smiles, giggles and kisses that make up for all the poo stories, hiting, biting etc...
Somedays I am ready to pull my hair out, but then they save themselves from being sold on the black market by doing something adorable:)
Keep your fingers crossed....I've had 2 full nights of sleep in a row!!!
