Utah...

I was gone all week.

Can you believe it?  A whole week.

At the last minute Jeff and I decided to pack our bags and head to my dads house for Thanksgiving.

We were busy little bees and came home with tons of memories.......and pictures........and stories to tell.....

About sheep and horses and dogs and birds AND babies.  And a whole lot more.

I can't wait to share them with you.

Wow, a last minute week-long trip? I bow to your packing skills, then. I need a week's prep to take my 3 somewhere for 2 days!

This was a tease post :-)

We did a similar thing. About 2 weeks before Thanksgiving we decided to pack all the kids in the car and head to my dad's house in North Carolina for 4 days. It was a great trip and proved to me that everything doesn't have to be overplanned like I try to do.

i love spur of the moment stuff, and with SEVEN to spur on - that's no mean feat!!!

Sounds like a nice trip. Sometimes spur of the moment is better because it doesn't have the same lead up of stress getting ready... I am probably dreaming traveling with five kids is always stress. Sounds fun!
