Lock Out Monday

I'm in a rut. Can't think of anything intelligent to write about. Today has been sort of an adventure though. Got locked out of my house by 6 kids under 6 years of age inside. Alone. Hiding in the shower. If one of Emma's friends hadn't unlocked the door, I would have never known that 6 little people were giggling uncontrollably in the shower. Now this is the stuff memories are made of. "Remember that time we were in Kindergarten and locked your mom out of the house and hid in the shower?"

I am sure it wasn't so funny at the time, but what a cute memory. Thanks for sharing.

I've locked myself out of the house before, but never with kids inside. Glad to hear that you got back in and everyone was OK.

my sisters and a friend did that to us once and then one of my sisters cracked open her head and my stepfather had to crawl in the window. it definitely makes for memories!

LOL!! That is funny. Only because I too have been locked out and had to climb in via a teeny tiny window, so I know your pain. I now have a key hidden... LOL

haha, sounds like something I would have done as a kid. Thanks for the compliments. I'm "cleaning up" my family blog right now and decided to erase personal blogs and post those on my personal page instead. I'm still deciding how I want to organize this thing.

ROFLMBO!!!!!!

My hubby (who has NO Forethought), has told our kids how he and his brother and sister (4 kids in 5 yrs) use to lock their babysitter out of the house by tricking her to go outside and then they would climb in through one of those old doors they would put milk through when milk was delivered. (they lived in an old family house growing up).

That's too funny. Never happen at my house though, we never lock the door, except at night. My kids would never think to lock a door!

The shower is where I giggle too...

Gracie once locked all of us outside when she was terrified of ants. She locked the door while we were playing in the yard to make sure none of them got in!!

For a non-intelligent writing day, you sure wrote a fun post!

Sooo funny! I can hear all of the giggles now! (But, I would have probably been a little floored wondering what was going on inside!) So glad that you were able to break in!
