The only thing worse than one tail.....

is TWO.

Jeff and I do not agree on the length of our sons hair. He likes it long. I like it short. So he "compromised". Sort of. It's really a punishment for harassing him to cut their hair. He thinks the tail is hilarious. I think it's atrocious. But they've been there for a week and neither of us is budging. I could take the clippers and buzz those suckers off, but I kind of want to see how long he'll be embarrassed by the tails as well. If you see a post in a few months with a braid and bead, don't be surprised. It's all out tail war.

They're cute no matter what...but tails???

I tend to like long too, but a tail? That's playing dirty!

Wow! Flash back to the 80's!

You two are hilarious! I would have the buzz-saw out right quick. That was a nasty trick he played...but pretty clever.

Bwhahaha! Jeff is getting some tail, huh? Sorry, couldn't resist. Though after the leaving of the tails maybe he isn't!

Good luck with that! :)

The tail must go. My eldest wanted a tail for the longest time because his friend from Japan had one and it was 'cool' over there to have one. I like that you are having a standoff over this. Awesome.

Oh I would be so tempted to just clip it off. That is pretty funny that neither of you are budging. Just think if it were still the 80's thats what everyone did on purpose...

Flashback. Please no tails, my poor nephews. Clippers fast, someone please. At least the boys are still adorable no matter what.

how did I miss that you lived in Alaska? How long ago and where? I am assuming Anchorage... everybody seems to be from here. Why did you leave?

I need to catch a flight out there and "accidentally on purpose" cut those tails off!! ;o)

I love them - so cute! Thankfully I do not have a male child cause it would be mohawks and rat tails all around here!!!!

oh come on. it's cute. in a white trash sort of way.

I'm partial to long hair.
I was humming and haaaaing as to whether or not I'm going to cut Masaru's hair and that day saw a cute boy in Smith's with long hair.
So now it's a shaggy mess cause I'm growing it long.

A tail war, huh?! That's a new one for me. I do think if you start braiding it or putting clips in it or a bow, hubby will cave in no time. hehe

No, my blog has always looked like that-
I vote no tail!

Hope you don't mind me blog stalking. I found you through Rachels blog. Being a twin, I had to go find out what monoamniotic twins are and my sister n' law is in the hospital right know with monoamniotic twins, I just didn't know what it was called. She's 29 weeks and they well hopefully if all goes well deliver the twin boys at 32 weeks. It's good to hear a success story. I will have to tell her about your blog.

It's encouraging to see a couple that I respect so much working out their differences like adults.

Ok, I hope you don't think I'm totally nosey, but I just saw the picture of the Manti temple on your blog, are you from Sanpete County? I only ask because so is my SIL that's pregnant with the twins.

Is Jeff growing a tail also?? That's too funny! If I see a picture of the boys with camoflauge hats on with flaps on the back I'll really know you've lost the war!! Flashback to the
80's

what's wrong with tails? I always wanted my boys to have tails, even since the first day they were born. but I always forgot to make one when I do their hair cut. I mean, in five years I never once remember to make it!

I remember when only the coolest guys rocked the tail...

Who knows, maybe your tail war will start a new(old) trend!

Okay, maybe not but I LOVE what this post says about your relationship with your husband. Makes me smile just thinking about it!

♡ Oh yeah I would have chopped that off quick! :) Weren't those called duck tails? 80's all over again! :)

The great thing about short hair is that you don't have to worry about "bed head", which I love (especially on a hectic Sunday morning).

Mark and I got quite a kick reading this post, and even more laughs reading the comments!!!

I say you dye the tails blue....

Laurie said...

Your will is stronger than mine. :) I would have them gone before they left the chair. too many bad fashion memories from the 80's:):) you guys are too funny

No! Angie! Get out the clippers! I can't stand seeing your lovely little boys with something as odious as tails on their little heads! Hehe :)

Jump. back. 20. years. I feel like I'm in Jr. High again. HA! You're a better woman than me...I would have shaved them off by now.

Hi...I'm back to stalk you again.

Uggh..I'm not a fan of the tails. My sister cuts my sons hair and I make sure that little tail gone...but that stupid little duck but is ALWAYS the first thing to grow back!!!
