Mini Vacation-Part 3

Alternate modes of transportation are always a welcome diversion in our family. One of the highlights of our trip were rides in grandpa's roadster and a zip down the lane on a motorcycle with their uncle. My dad even let Jeff take me for a ride in his roadster. Good times.

P.S. We live life dangerously. No helmets. Before you get upset though, I should explain that they were on a private lane. I'd tell you how few feet it was, but since I couldn't guess, I won't. But, trust me, it was a very short length, AND a police man saw them and waved them on. So, I couldn't have been endangering them too badly.

Fun times! Rich takes the kids on "little" motorbike rides too. I usually freak out and I'm sure the neighbors do too, but I know he's going very slow. They have fun ;)

The girls hair twists look great! I'm not so good at that do..Viv moves too much.

I can't believe you were in Utah and we missed you...we must have been out of town. I hope that you had a lovely time. Loved your post about downtown and all the exhibits...I have visited all of the aforementioned places on fieldtrips for preschool, school, and scouts in recent months. The two headed lamb is always a hit!

Looks like you guys had great vacation. I can't believe how grown-up the twins look. I'm going to be headed through Salt Lake soon, and can't wait to show my girls all the sights. I'm going to put you on my blog roll, so I can keep up with you guys, now that we are gone. We're still in Oregon for another month at my moms, but we are gearing up for Tennessee.

Fun! Tuttuttut on the helmet thing . . . Honestly, I hate it when people make a big deal about it for short little rides in the yard etc. and then the same people drive horribly while talking on the cell phone etc.
