April 2nd

Twenty-five years ago today, my mom died. Seven years ago today my niece was born. I'm thankful for joyous events that make the day less.......sad.

Yes, it's always nice to have other milestones that take the pain out of certain days.

Hang in there!

This must be such a tough day for you. I hope you are doing ok. Twenty five years is such a long time to miss someone so vital to a young woman's life. ((hugs))

On the topic of births....my grandmother died the year before my girls were born and their due date was her birthdate. I was really close to my grandma. Strange how that happens, huh? I always wonder if the twins were not monoamniotic if they would have actually been born on her birthday.

A day full of meaning and reflection.

I'm sure your mom is proud of you, Angie.

♥ We have a day like that too. Joe's grandma died on his mom's birthday and then we were married on the same day.

Angie, I am so sorry for the pain this day undoubtedly brings. What an amazingly strong person you are to see the blessings in the midst of the heartache.

I second Jeremiah, your mother is very proud for sure.

Angie I am so sorry for your loss. Angie I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 3 years and 3 months ago. It was devastating for me- has not changed much. I love how you look to the Birthday of your niece for comfort and find blessings in your day. The gospel does help see me through the tough times- I have struggled so hard and so long- there is no statue of limitations on mourning a loss as great a Mother.

It must be so hard to have the anniversary of your mom's death the day after your birthday. I'm glad that you have something joyous to celebrate on this day as well.

Hugs!

Angie, I can't imagine what that must have been like for you, and what it's like for you now. Maybe sometime we can talk about it more. xoxoxo

I am so sorry for this loss. I realize this lost is not just part of one day but part of your whole life. I am grateful that you have risen above it and find joy in the mothering of your children etc... Your mother must be so proud of you. You have not let her loss define you but make you a stronger more determined person! I know that never will take away the very real pain!

I'm guessing your mom had something to do with your neice being born then. That's the way I like to look at those happy coincidences. That they aren't really coincidences at all.

I'm sorry you lost your mom at such a young age Angie. It's good you your nieces birthday to have something positive to balance the day. I think your mom would be so proud of the woman and mother you are today.

Wow, 25 years have just gone by in a flash. I am sure for you they haven't gone unnoticed, all the things you would have loved to have your mummy there for. She has to be so very proud of the GREAT mother and wife that you are.

Missing her beautiful face too!
