The time has come to stop milking the oral surgery recovery. I've been feeling guilty about the wonderfully nice comments and well wishes. Admittedly, the first 2 days were very rough, but I'm feeling much better now. I still *look* like a train wreck, but I'm fully functional and not in *pain*. Of course it's uncomfortable at times, but not enough that I need to take pain medication. Eating is still an issue, but I am getting adequate nutrition. I've been living on protein shakes and slowly adding foods that don't need a lot of chewing back into my diet. Eating doesn't hurt anyore, it's just hard to keep the food away from the areas that I need to. So, thank you all so much. I really loved the comments and your concern. It's almost like having a baby. All the attention that is. Yet I didn't have to worry about the phone ringing off the hook or people stopping by. It's been lovely. Thank you.

You have ever right to milk it. I think I would for at least a week. I love your new music selection.
Mom's never get a chance to milk it. Go ahead and go a few more days!
You can never milk it too much. I am glad you're feeling better. Take advantage of it!!!!!
♡ I'm glad you're feeling better! I still can't imagine what they did... It makes me cringe just thinking about it.
I would have milked it for a bit longer as well!
I am so glad you are feeling better.. . but I agree, milk it as long as you can. I think with oral surgery you have a least two weeks of milking it.
Oh glad you are feeling a little better. a little attention is always nice.
Phew! Hopefully you're getting some breaks around the house...at the very least you should milk it for a few more days around the house...they don't need to know you're starting to feel better.
good to hear you are getting better. don't push your self too hard.
Hey, that "almost like having a baby" comment was a little too close to home, ha, ha, ha. Five more days!!! Oh, boy.
I am glad that you are starting to feel an improvement. I hope your healing continues speedily.
Yum, protein shakes. You will have to tell me which kind you like best...
Sorry to have laid the guilt on with the well-wishes. I repent.
So...
Suck it up and get over it!
;)
well, i've been way behind on the well-wishes, so i'm going to keep being concerned for you for a couple more days. at least until the swelling is gone.
Glad to hear you are feeling better and you shouldn't feel guilty one bit for needing a little extra TLC!
Milk it baby milk it.
So have you lost weight since you can only drink stuff?

MILK IT! Moms don't get as much simpathy and help that they deserve. sooo milk it!
Bjorn had this done a few years back and I know how painful it must be. He is a man however, so take that with a grain of salt. He did have a tough time eating and keeping good from touching the sore on the roof of the mouth. Hope things are getting better.
Glad you are on the mend!
You have every right to milk it. I plan on milking my wisdom teeth removal. :) But I am very happy to hear that you are doing better. You are a trooper.
I say milk it as long as you can...it is very rare that we get these opportunities, so I say drag it out baby! I hope you are able to eat better and that the pain is starting go.....I don't even want to go there with a visual....it sounds too painful.
Glad that you're getting to felling better. hope you'll be all better soon. {the picture loaded this visit and OH man!}
You are the least complaining person I know. That isn't really a normal sentence is it?
Anyway, I am SUPER glad you are feeling better.
