Tuesday's Tribute

Tuesday's Tribute
Yet Another Jay and Deb Production.

Remember Mission Monday? It's officially been laid to rest, but in it's place, Tuesday's Tribute has been born. I love that Jay and Deb think in such cyclic terms...wait, I just love them period...despite the fact that I'm not Deb's favorite red head. Sigh.

Back to Tuesday's tribute...Love, Love, Love this idea.

First of all, it'll keep me grounded. If it's not all about me, then I'm going to be forced to talk about someone else. :)

Second of all....it gives me something concrete to talk about each Tuesday. And look forward to.

And thirdly....well, two reasons are enough, right?

This week, it's only fitting that I talk about my husband. With the beginning of the New Year and all of the good feelings that abound, he won't kill me for putting him in the spotlight. I don't think. Plus, it's not everyday that I can tell you all how great he is without sounding like a sap. I hate sounding like a sap.

This is my guy....LOVE HIM. Even if he does give me dirty looks occasionally and has no patience with my attempts to get a shot of him and the kids in front of the giant Christmas tree at Disneyland. He really is perfect in almost every way. And I'm really not being sarcastic here. :)

What a fabulous idea! A day to talk about someone else. Does it have to be good?? lol

Do you live right by Disneyland now? We are hoping to be there this time next year. It would be really cool to meet you....

And, by the way, that older daughter of yours is stunning! She looks so much older than her years, which must scare the bejeepers out of you!

Daily I hear God reminding me, "It's not about you..." And most days I listen.

This was special, Angie...and that is one gorgeous gang gathered under the big tree at Disneyland.

So sweet!!!!

Did Disney try to charge you a fee for posing in front of the tree? It wouldn't surprise me. He's actually not impatient, he's probably doing the math on the cost of refreshments there...

It's not sappy! It's awesome! You go girl! You are so cute and have such a lovely family!

what a great idea- Tribute Tuesdays. that a blog wouldn't be all about ME? :-)
My husband doesn't have a lot of patience for my photo shoots either... psheesh- just because he doesn't have to worry about bad hair days...
Blessings!

Mark and Kiss said...

ha ha ha! Too funny, love Jeff's look. Very sweet picture and I love the LOVE you share about your family, not sappy at all, just genuine, positive (need more of that always) observations about the people around you! How fun to be close to Disneyland! I bet the kids love that!

Jay @halftime lessons said...

Ok, Dammit. I'll say it too...

He's alright lookin.

;-)

You have such a beautiful Circus, Angie...such a lucky woman. And who the hell told you I was a redhead? oops...was it me?

Actually, my wife gave me some hilights the other night that didnt come out too good...no prob, however, I'm shaving my head in March again for St. Baldricks.

Anyway, enough about me...after all, it's not about me.

GREAT post, and I ALWAYS LOVE seeing your family. Can you persuade my wife to get on here and find something to rave about me?

Oops...not about me...damn...

Thanks SO much for jumping out on the Inaugural Tuesday's Tribute!!

great idea for a post

Melissa said...

That's so cute that you said all that nice stuff about your husband.
Did he read it?

Ash said...

I wish husbands knew that every time we look at a coerced shot we think "now why did he have to ruin this shot by being such an @ss?"

At least that's what I think - but I'm sure I get "the look" for a very good reason.

You? I can't imagine you doing anything to justify the look.

Laura said...

I know he is a great guy :) I am amazed at that picture and how cold it was at Disneyland? I have never been there with any kind of cold, ever.

Tim said...
