The Pug Stroll and Eyes Revisited

On my way to see the surgeon who did my eyes I actually saw a woman with her dogs out for a walk. Not on leashes, in a stroller. Yes, you read that correctly. A woman with a twin stroller with her pugs lounging on the seats.

And on to the eye subject which I promised I wouldn't revisit, but will......still stable. The epithilial cells in my left eye have not moved up under the flap but he still wants to keep an eye on them for the next 6 months. And the reason he spent so much time looking at my right eye two weeks ago? That flap shifted too.....let me say this again......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I'm not going to tell Bjorn about all the problems you have had. He would like to get it done at some point, but if he hears anything bad he has a fit. I hope all goes well for the next six months.

You are an enigma! I will be praying those eyes don't give you any more trouble!

Pugs in a stroller? I'm not sure what I think about that?!

At the last ward barbecue I saw a family with their cat in a stroller. I thought that was crazy. And now 2 pugs? Seriously........ I'm wondering now with all of your medical experiences, if you just shouldn't go into medicine yourself. You'd be such a great person to get advice and comfort from as a patient, because you have been there man!

Did you tell the lady strolling with the pugs that you might have some cute matching baby outfits you could sell her? I think that is hilarious. You also could have used the all time fave comment, "Boy, you've got your hands full!"

Can't believe your eye stuff. I hope you don't have to have surgery again.

How highly was your surgeon recommended? I think he gave you the shaft personally!

And the dogs, don't get me started, some people have too much time/energy on their hands.

I am not a dog lover (don't hate me) So the idea of seeing someone pushing her pugs in a stroller just seems crazy and insane to me! I cannot imagine why people treat animals like that, its wierd.
I am so sorry to read about your eyes, its insane. I really am one of those people who always has the weird outcomes happen to me, but I am starting to think you have me beat now. You poor thing! Hopefully it will all settle down on its own! Whenever they give the speachs (required by law) where they give you the "slim" odds of complications... my ears perk up. I always am that person too!

I am glad that your surgeon is "keeping an eye" on your eyes. Seriously though, I hope that they will heal correctly and stay that way. I love you Ange!

As far as the dogs go, maybe people might not be so offended when I put a harness on my child...he he he
