Otter Rock Beach

Remember that vacation I was dreaming about a few weeks ago? DONE. And it was wonderful. Oregon's coast is pretty spectacular. The beaches are great, although this is not the place to sunbathe. Bring your sweatshirt, camera and be prepared for some walking. You won't be disappointed!
Otter Rock Beach
Ahhhhh......my family. Do you hear the affection I have for them in that sigh?

So apropos. The twins going one way, the other kids going another.

Walking down to the beach after a swim in the hotel pool.

Our hotel is the building you see here.

Angie, what beautiful pictures! I love the Oregon coast. Maybe we can take a trip together....How nice to have a heated pool to swim in too. That definitely would have been an upside to our family reunion. I almost wonder if the freezing coast water triggered Levi's "cold antibody" reaction. who knows? I am glad you had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing the pictures!

Oh, I am soooooo wishing I could be you right now:) I could really use a dose of the ocean, that looks so amazing! Why did I ever move to the east coast?

I am so glad you got a vacation!! Was it easier now that the twins are bigger? We are waiting until the Spring to go somewhere. I feel like I am just coming out of the fog from the first year. Not quite enough yet though to travel anywhere! Moving 1300 miles with 6 month old twins kind of cured me of that for a while!

I love the picture of the twins holding hands!!

Looks like a beautiful place. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. Now I have to ask...especially after my most recent post. Are family vacations relaxing in any way or is it just a ton more work since you aren't at home with all "your kid-proof stuff." I can't imagine my girls in a hotel room. The place would be torn apart in seconds.

I love these pictures!! I love the Oregon coast but have to agree its very different from California. I was a bit shocked by that when I went, and we were FREEZING!
